A Kenya passenger plane operated by fly Sax and carrying ten people on Tuesday disappeared, according to local aviation authorities.
A search for the plane started on Tuesday continued till Wednesday. Local media reports that Tuesday’s search was unable to continue due to bad weather.
Fly Sax revealed that eight passengers and two crew members were on-board the plane.
The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) said the plane took off from Kitale, a town in Kenya’s west, en route to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the capital, Nairobi.
“Search and rescue teams were activated immediately and since not yielded no results”.
“They have suspended the search for the night and shall resume at first light tomorrow morning,” KCAA further said.
Meanwhile a rescue and search team deployed to help search for the missing fly Saz flight are involved in a road accident, Kenya Red Cross tweet.
