Sky Racing news update

Ronan’s Rock relished the step up in distance last start and can repeat his winning performance from an ideal draw at The Valley.

BEST BET

RONAN’S ROCK (R2, No.4, $2.70)

The three-year-old colt finally delivered for punters in his fifth career start when stepping up to 1600m. He was able to show his tactical speed and should get another perfect run from barrier five. Damien Oliver stays onboard.

NEXT BET

MOSH MUSIC (R6, No.6, $3)

Back-to-back dominant wins over 2040m at the track indicates she’ll handle the step up to 2500m for the first time, as well as the rise in grade.

BLUE TYCOON (R7, No.2, $3)

He wasn’t far behind two smart gallopers Rox The Castle and Greyworm this track and distance. There should be enough speed to allow him to find a forward position from barrier 10.

ARCHIE ALEXANDER

ZABELARINA (R2, No.8, $3.50)

“She’ll go well. (Her) last two starts was a win and a good placing in town where she was looking for a bit further. She will appreciate the step up to a mile. Moonee Valley is always a question mark but I can’t see any reason why she won’t (handle it). She’s definitely good enough to win.”

MOSH MUSIC (R6, No.6, $3)

“We’re going into the unknown stepping up to 2500m but I think she’s showing all the right signs. She hits the line strong over 2000m. Good barrier for her. This is probably a bit tougher than she’s been in but there’s a few in the race she’s already beaten. We couldn’t be happier with her.”
